Women and Weed

This presentation will focus on some of the unique nuances, encountered by women and the use of marijuana. Despite the title, this is not just for women only and explores the impacts on public health and mental health associated with today’s marijuana. Dr. Bader’s level of subject expertise coupled with her sense of humor will make this an enjoyable and education session for all.

Dr. Bader received her PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2007. Her post-doctoral fellowship focus was on
“Clinical Dependency” at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. She is a licensed psychologist and licensed addiction counselor, as well as a certified mental performance consultant working with elite athletes in professional and collegiate sports.  Now in private practice, she recently was the Chief Clinical Officer at
“Women’s Recovery” in Colorado, advancing the treatment of women in recovery of substance use disorders.
