PATERSON HARM REDUCTION EVENT: Lived Experience Panel
Montclair State University received grant money to coordinate and conduct a comprehensive effort to dispel misinformation about harm reduction among policymakers and the greater community of Paterson in collaboration with community partners working in and around the fields of substance use and harm reduction. To bring opioid misuse and harm reduction education directly to those at the forefront of the epidemic in Paterson, we are planning several awareness events in the community this summer.
The first event will be a panel discussion with local individuals with lived experience working on harm reduction. The event will be held at Camp YDP on June 24th from 11 am to 1 pm, with lunch and refreshments served.
