✍🏽 Community Calendar Highlight: Healthy Homes & Asthma Care Series with Green & Healthy Homes Initiative

This Community Calendar Highlight is featuring the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative in collaboration with the New Jersey Department of Health, offering a specialized two-part educational series focused on asthma and healthy homes.

On March 6 and March 16, 2026, a meaningful virtual learning space is being created for community health workers, health departments, early education programs, managed care organizations, and members of the birthing community working toward health equity.

Join us for this two-part Healthy Homes & Asthma Care educational series, designed to:

• Define what makes a home “healthy” and why it matters
• Explore home environmental assessments and intervention programs in New Jersey
• Understand asthma triggers, medications, and delivery devices
• Strengthen assessment, monitoring, and asthma management practices

This is more than a training — it’s a space to build knowledge, collaboration, and healthier communities across New Jersey.

No prior certification required. Just come ready to learn.
