Black History School

There is a movement in this country that is focused on banning books that focus on the history and legacy of race in this country, and a fight to eliminate any programs that focus on DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion).
A collective of folks have decided to come together and have chosen to combat these recent phenomenon with the “BLACK HISTORY SCHOOL.” BLACK children and BLACK people deserve to know their history and understand their cultural roots. From Tuesday, August 29th – Friday, September 1st, the Black History School will run classes from 4pm-5pm and from 5pm-6pm for those ages 9years and up. The cost is $35 per student for the week and the classes will be held at the Christ Temple Baptist Church of Paterson NJ. It is our hope to have programming throughout the year and we are hoping other groups/organizations will agree to sponsor this collective.
